Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, Days
Overtime: Paid at an increased rate
Kemp Recruitment is recruiting for a qualified and experienced Workshop Generator Engineer to join a large generator company.
This workshop-based position involves servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of generators, ensuring equipment is reliable and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on diesel generators of varying sizes.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Inspect and test generators following servicing and repairs.
• Complete accurate maintenance records and job sheets.
• Maintain a safe and organised workshop, following health and safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• A recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Plant Maintenance and Repair, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar generator engineering role within the last two years.
• Strong fault-finding skills and experience working with diesel engines and generator systems.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team.
• A full UK driving licence.
