Role: Electrician (Industrial Door Engineering)
Location: Cardiff and surrounding areas
Salary: Negotiable DOE + Door to Door
Shift: 40 hours  

My client, a specialist company within the Industrial Door Engineering industry, is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Electrician to join their team in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrician looking to develop their technical skills and move into a specialist engineering environment.

Ideal candidates will be based in Cardiff or the surrounding areas, with the ability to travel to customer sites as required.

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for
Carrying out electrical fault-finding, servicing and maintenance on industrial door systems
Diagnosing electrical faults and identifying suitable repairs
Assisting with the installation, maintenance and repair of industrial door equipment
Working across a variety of customer sites
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Providing professional customer service when attending site

The successful Electrician will have the following experience
Previous experience as an Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Engineer or Electrical Technician
Good electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience working with electrical systems, motors or control panels would be advantageous
A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A full UK driving licence
Previous industrial door experience is not essential, as my client is happy to consider candidates with a strong electrical background who are keen to learn and develop within the industry.
