Role: Industrial Door Engineer
Location: England, Ireland & Europe
Salary: £17ph (£39,780) + Van (Personal Use Permitted) + Door-to-Door
Shift: 45 hour week
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x
On Call: 1 in 4-week rota + Standby + Overtime Pay

My client, a respected independent specialist in Automatic and Industrial Door Systems, is looking to recruit a motivated Industrial Door Engineer to join their growing team. This is a permanent, field-based role offering the opportunity to work across England, Ireland and Europe, with all travel and meals covered by the company while working away from home. The role offers a varied workload, competitive hourly pay, door-to-door pay, and plenty of optional overtime for engineers looking to maximise their earnings.

The ideal engineer will be based in the Leeds and surrounding areas, or in the Northwest

As an Industrial Door Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Carrying out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance on a range of Industrial door systems.
Assisting with the installation and commissioning of Industrial doors.
Working on a variety of sites across England, Ireland and Europe.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant industry standards.
Travelling and staying away from home as required, with accommodation-related travel costs and meals covered by the company.

The successful Industrial Door Engineer will have the following experience:
Experience working with Industrial doors is preferred, particularly in servicing, repairs and installations; however, candidates with any level of Industrial door experience will be considered.
Experience working with industrial doors is desirable but not essential.
A willingness to learn, develop technical skills and work on a variety of door systems.
A full UK driving licence.

The Industrial Door Engineer will receive an excellent remuneration package, which includes:
Company van, with personal use permitted within reason.
Door-to-door pay.
45-hour working week.
Overtime paid at 1.5x, with plenty available outside normal working hours due to the company’s predominantly retail-based contracts. Overtime is optional.
1 in 4 on-call rota, including standby allowance and overtime pay.
All travel and meals covered while working away from home.
28 days’ holiday.
Company closure from 24 December to 5 January.
Company pension scheme.
Fuel card and tool card.
All tools and equipment required to carry out the role provided.
