HGV/Trailer Mechanic – Night Shift
Location: Glasgow
Pay: £46,800 + – from £20ph
Shift: Monday – Thursday
OTE: £50,000

About your new company

My client is a fleet maintenance company who have been established for over 25 years. They are now looking for skilled HGV /Trailer Mechanic Technicians to hit the ground running and join their ever-growing team.

About your new HGV Technician role
•             Ensuring the Fleet are compliant to Roadworthiness Regulations
•             Maintaining Fleet compliance through regular service inspections
•             Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
•             Responding to defect reporting processes and carrying out rectifications on Fleet vehicles
•             Communication with all teams to ensure no impact on Transport Operation
•             Callout ROTA covering fleet
•             Weekend shift ROTA
The successful HGV /Trailer Mechanic will have
•             High level of problem solving and team working
•             Excellent communication skills and a high level of flexibility
•             Ability to perform to high standards
•             NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (preferred)
•             IT literate
•             Previous commercial vehicles experience
•             Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience as a HGV or Trailer Mechanic
•             LGV C+E licence beneficial not essential

The successful HGV/Trailer Mechanic Technician will receive
