HGV Mechanic – Heathrow – West Drayton
Up to £25.00 per hour (DOE) + Overtime at 1.5x
Monday to Friday | Alternating Shifts

Are you an experienced HGV Mechanic looking for a secure, well-paid role with a leading commercial vehicle workshop? Join our Heathrow-based client and take your career to the next level.

What’s on offer:

Excellent pay – up to £25.00 per hour depending on experience
Regular overtime paid at time and a half
Work-life balance – Monday to Friday only (no weekends)
Ongoing manufacturer and industry training
A supportive, modern workshop environment

Shift pattern:

Week 1: 6:00am – 3:00pm
Week 2: 2:00pm – 11:00pm
(Alternate weekly)

The role:

Routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers
Diagnostics and fault finding
MOT preparation and general workshop duties
Ensuring vehicles meet compliance and safety standards

What we’re looking for:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Previous experience as an HGV Technician/Mechanic/Fitter
A proactive approach and good problem-solving skills
HGV licence (Class 1 or 2) preferred but not essential

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up. We had a catch up the next morning where we discussed the role and experiences.. my CV was sent to the client and an interview was organised by Jamie.

I had the interview, it was alright.. however I felt that it wasn’t for me however Celi was great in discussing the situation and in no way was this bad on kemps side of things these things just don’t always work out!
