Technical Sales Representative Location: Cardiff & Tewkesbury
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum + Annual Bonus (up to 25%)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in pumps or temporary power solutions? We’re working with a leading provider in the plant hire and industrial services sector who is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to take ownership of key regional accounts and generate new business opportunities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in technical consultative sales and passionate about driving revenue across a well-established client base.
The Role: Reporting directly to the Head of Pump Services, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing strong relationships with existing key accounts to maximise revenue opportunities
- Generating new business by identifying and pursuing fresh sales leads
- Delivering impactful sales presentations to senior decision-makers
- Collaborating with internal teams, including regional sales managers, to support wider sales efforts
- Promoting products and services at customer events, trade days, and industry exhibitions
- Staying updated on pump, power, and water treatment solutions to provide expert advice to clients
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within the pumps, power generation, or water treatment sectors
- Strong ability to exceed targets and drive revenue growth
- Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business development
- Solid administrative and reporting skills – confident with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Full UK driving licence – essential
