Job Title:             Mobile HGV Technician
Shift:                    Monday – Friday days (45 hrs)
Location:            Rugby and Surrounding area
Salary:                 £44,000 – £47,000 + Van + FC

Mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity
Due to increased business levels our specialist fleet maintenance company is looking to add an additional Mobile HGV technician / Mechanic / Fitter to the team.

Duties of the Mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter

Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections and subsequent repairs to a variety of trucks and commercial vehicles
Perform visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty or maladjusted parts.
Carry out technical inspections
Will be required to undertake thorough inspections of accident damaged machines and produce accurate reports to enable repair.
In this HGV technician / Mechanic / Fitter role you will be working on customer sites with or without workshop facilities being available for use

Experience/skills required for the Mobile HGV Technician/ Mechanic / Fitter

Ideally hold full HGV qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds)
Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles
Technical experience on vehicle electrical systems (12+24 volts), hydraulic and pneumatic
Circa five years’ technical experience on municipal vehicles (eg refuse, sweepers, etc),
Hold an HGV Class 1 or 2 licence would be beneficial
Valid driving licence is essential

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up. We had a catch up the next morning where we discussed the role and experiences.. my CV was sent to the client and an interview was organised by Jamie.
Jamie sent all the information over and then celi Called me in the morning to catch up and wish me luck for the interview..

I had the interview, it was alright.. however I felt that it wasn’t for me however Celi was great in discussing the situation and in no way was this bad on kemps side of things these things just don’t always work out!
