Technical Sales Representative – Hydraulics / Engineering Location: Lisburn/Belfast (Northern Ireland)
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 + Bonus (up to 20% of salary)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Are you a driven and experienced sales professional with a background in hydraulics, industrial sales, or engineering? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and rapidly growing national service provider in the hydraulic hose replacement industry.
We are working with the UK’s largest independent onsite hose replacement company, operating for over 35 years with a fleet of 150+ service vans and a reputation for delivering a 98%+ first-time fix rate. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to cover Northern Ireland.
The Role: As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a key role in managing and growing accounts, generating new business, and supporting a mobile engineering team across your region. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing key customer accounts with regular contact and support
- Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly
- Supporting and executing the sales and marketing strategy
- Coordinating lead generation with the mobile engineering team
- Building a strong pipeline of new business opportunities and closing sales
- Capturing customer feedback and sharing insights with the wider team
- Providing technical support to engineers and occasionally assisting on-site
- Preparing and maintaining weekly sales plans and call logs
What We’re Looking For: You’ll need to be highly self-motivated, organised, and confident working remotely. A successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced technical or industrial sales role
- Background in hydraulics, pneumatics, or engineering sectors (essential)
- Strong customer service, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Good IT skills (MS Office, CRM, internet, email systems)
- Engineering/technical qualifications (desirable but not essential)
- A valid UK driving licence
