Job Role:       HGV Technician
Location:      Hyde
Pay:                £47,500 – 49,000
Benefits:      All overtime paid at 1.5 X
Shift:              4 day working week (Monday to Thursday & Tuesday to Friday) + 1 in 2 Sat mornings (paid at 1.5X)
Benefits: : Enrolment on Simplyhealth Scheme after 3 months service – Approx £550 worth in benefits if used – plus mental health and well-being support
Auto enrolment on company pension scheme, 5% employee / 3% employer
Monthly payroll
Half year and end of year bonus* (*discretionary, OTE £600 each period)
28 days holiday rising with service

HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity

My client, a well-established fleet maintenance company with depots across the North West is actively seeking to employ 2 more experienced and qualified HGV Technicians to be based out of a brand new state of the art depot in the Hyde area to work on a 4 day shift (Monday – Thursday & Tuesday -Friday shift) Due to recent expansion and increased workloads they are looking to add to the team ASAP.

HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter duties

• Working in a brand new, purpose built, well equipped workshop, the successful HGV Technician will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance.
• Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.
• You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.

HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter experience / qualifications required

• You must have detailed experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.

Any experience of breakdowns or onsite clinics would be an advantage
Ideally hold recognised qualifications in HGV
Wanting to work a 4 day week
