Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Colchester
Pay: Up to £21ph
Shift: Monday to Friday Days

About the Company
My client, a well established fleet maintenance company is actively seeking to employ a skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Technician to work in their workshop facility in Colchester.

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician:
· Conducting vehicle inspections
· Carry out repairs on small vehicles up to large HGV vehicles
· Performing routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
· Carrying out reactive maintenance as required
· Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT testing
· Diagnosing and rectifying running defects
· You may also be required to attend any call outs to broken down vehicles.

Requirements of the HGV Technician:
· Comprehensive knowledge of HGVs and trailers.
· Industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
· Previous experience as an HGV Technician
· HGV Licence (preferred but not essential)
