Hours: 40 Per Week
Location: Castleford, West Yorkshire
Shift Work (Earlies /Lates/Weekends 5 out of 7)

PSV Technician – Castleford, West York
Join a well-respected company in York as a PSV Engineer, where your expertise will be recognised and your professional growth supported.
The ideal candidate will be an electrically bias Mechanical/Electrical Engineer within the heavy vehicle automotive sector.

What you’ll be doing in your new PSV Technician role

Servicing and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
Continuous improvement of vehicle standards.
MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks.
Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA).
Attending roadside breakdowns.
Shift Work (Earlies /Lates/Weekends 5 out of 7)

Requirements for your new PSV Technician role:

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or 5 Years+ Time served as HGV/PSV Technician
A full UK driving licence.
Confidence working in a busy workshop environment.

Competitive pay: £19 Per Hour + Plenty of Over time available
Optional overtime available
Tight-knit team with great workshop facilities
Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays (rising to 25 days after 5 years’ service)

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up. We had a catch up the next morning where we discussed the role and experiences.. my CV was sent to the client and an interview was organised by Jamie.
Jamie sent all the information over and then celi Called me in the morning to catch up and wish me luck for the interview..

I had the interview, it was alright.. however I felt that it wasn’t for me however Celi was great in discussing the situation and in no way was this bad on kemps side of things these things just don’t always work out!
