Workshop Controller – £45,000
Aberdeen | Monday to Friday 

We’re seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to lead and coordinate operations at our client’s busy HGV workshop in Aberdeen. You’ll oversee a skilled team, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily workflow, allocating jobs and monitoring progress to maximise productivity.
• Ensure all repair, service, and inspection work meets company and legal standards.
• Approve additional work, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance.
• Support, motivate, and guide technicians to achieve performance and quality targets.
• Maintain a well-organised, safe, and compliant workshop.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to deliver excellent service.

About You

• Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or Supervisor in a commercial vehicle or HGV environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Solid understanding of workshop operations and compliance.
• Confident using workshop management systems (R2C, Truckfile, Kerridge, etc.).
• Focused on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
