Vehicle Technician – Birmingham Salary: £42,660 OTE (Basic £36,720 plus £2,400 bonus plus overtime)
Hours: 42.5 per week, day shifts only
Overtime: Paid at time and a half
Ref: INDCR

If you are a Level 3 Vehicle Technician looking for a stable workshop with proper investment and a team that actually supports you, this one is worth a look.
The Birmingham site is moving into a brand new workshop with modern tooling and a layout designed to make your life easier. It is a great time to join because you will be part of the move and the setup while everything is being upgraded.
The team you will be joining is solid. Some of the technicians have been there five, ten or even twenty years. It is a workshop where people stay because the work is steady, the management is supportive and the training is consistent.
You will be working on a mixed fleet of LCVs and a small number of cars, roughly 800 vehicles in total. There is plenty of work, plenty of variety and a strong technical support network behind you.

What you will be doing
• Servicing, diagnostics and repairs on LCVs and some cars
• Working closely with an experienced Workshop Manager and Controller
• Keeping paperwork accurate and up to date
• Using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
• Developing your skills through regular technical training

What you will need
• Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification
• Experience in a busy workshop environment
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic ability
• A reliable and steady approach to work
