Vehicle Technician (Ford) – Taunton

Salary: Competitive, DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm & 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:00am – 12:30pm)
Contract: Permanent

Overview
We’re looking for a Vehicle Technician to join a main dealer workshop in Taunton. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills with full manufacturer training at a leading Ford dealership in the South West.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance and service checks to manufacturer standards.
Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs.
Produce detailed vehicle health reports using electronic systems.
Communicate technical issues clearly to customers, both in person and via video software.

What You’ll Need

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Automotive/Engineering.
Previous experience in a vehicle workshop environment.
MOT qualification is advantageous but not essential (training provided).
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
