Hours: Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week + 1 in 2 Saturday mornings
Shift Pattern: Week 1: 7:00am – 4:30pm | Week 2: 11:00am – 8:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Earning Potential
Basic Salary: £44,500 per year
Realistic OTE: £45,000 – £50,000+ per year with overtime and Saturday work

Overview
We’re looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join a professional workshop on a rotating shift pattern. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HGV Mechanic to earn a strong base salary, benefit from regular overtime at 1.5x, and boost earnings further with optional Saturday mornings.

Key Responsibilities

As an HGV Mechanic, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles to a high standard.
Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using modern equipment as part of your role as a professional HGV Mechanic.
Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and in line with workshop procedures.
Maintain accurate job cards and documentation, and uphold excellent workshop organisation.

What You’ll Need

Recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic in a commercial workshop.
Strong diagnostic and technical repair skills.
Full UK driving licence.

What’s On Offer

£44,500 per annum basic salary
OTE £45,000 – £50,000+ per year with overtime at 1.5x
