HGV Technician – Nights (Monday–Thursday)

Pay: £22.00 per hour
Salary: £50,336 per annum BASIC
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00pm – 7:00am
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Overtime: Available

Earning Potential
Basic Salary: £50,336 per year
Realistic OTE: £55,000+ per year with overtime

Overview
We’re looking for a skilled HGV Technician for a permanent night shift, Monday to Thursday. This role is ideal for a practical, hands-on technician who prefers nights, values a long weekend, and wants strong base earnings with additional overtime opportunities. We will also consider experienced Van Technicians looking to move into HGVs.

Key Responsibilities

As an HGV Technician, you will carry out servicing, repairs, and inspections on heavy goods vehicles during night operations.
Perform diagnostics and fault-finding to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
Work independently and efficiently in a night shift environment, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Keep accurate documentation and uphold workshop safety and organisation as a professional HGV Technician.

What You’ll Need

Proven experience as an HGV Technician or a strong background as a Van Technician moving into HGVs.
Solid diagnostic and repair skills – qualifications are beneficial but not essential for the right candidate.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work nights and a proactive, self-motivated approach.

What’s On Offer

£22.00 per hour / £50,336 per annum basic salary
OTE £55,000+ per year with overtime
Monday – Thursday nights (8pm–7am) – 3-day weekend every week
No weekend shifts
