Pay: £17.60 – £19.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Friday, Rotating Shifts
Shift Pattern: Week 1: 6:00am – 2:30pm | Week 2: 3:30pm – 12:00am
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Earning Potential
Basic Salary: £36,608 – £39,520 per year (based on 40-hour week)
OTE with Overtime: Up to £45,000+ per year

Overview
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional workshop on a rotating early/late shift pattern. This is a stable opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to work Monday–Friday with a varied schedule, competitive hourly rates, and clear overtime earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

• As an HGV Technician, you will undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs, and major overhauls on heavy goods vehicles.
• Complete standard servicing and diagnostics, following the repair process from fault analysis to completion.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and safety standards in a busy workshop environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of workshop organisation and safety.

What You’ll Need

• Apprentice-trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician in a fleet or dealership environment.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Full UK driving licence (C+E / Class 1 licence is beneficial but not essential).
