HGV Technician – Full-Time Days

Salary: £36,000 – £46,632 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (with lunch break)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and qualified HGV Technician to join a professional workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician who is hardworking, has a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, and is keen to work on a variety of vehicles—both in a team and independently—within a forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities

As an HGV Technician, you will repair and maintain a range of vehicles, mainly HGVs with some light vehicles, ensuring they are running safely and efficiently.
Perform diagnostic work using relevant equipment to resolve vehicle issues as a professional HGV Technician.
Carry out servicing and maintenance to a high standard in line with internal and manufacturer requirements.
Maintain good technical knowledge and a high level of attention to detail, while providing excellent customer service.

What You’ll Need

Minimum City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
At least 3 years of experience as an HGV Technician since qualifying.
Strong diagnostic skills and a solid interest/experience in electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous).
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and a strong interest in commercial vehicles.
Full UK driving licence (Class 1 or 2 licence is an advantage but not essential).
