Powered Access Engineer
Location: Runcorn
Salary: Up to £60,000
Hours: Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Powered Access Engineer to join a well-established business based in Runcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity offering a highly competitive salary, bonus, overtime and long-term career stability.

The Role: As a Powered Access Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of powered access equipment, ensuring all machinery is safe, compliant and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain and repair powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts and MEWPs
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
  • Carry out LOLER inspections and complete all associated paperwork
  • Attend breakdowns and complete repairs both in the workshop and on customer sites
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Powered Access Engineer or similar role
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
  • CAP qualification desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Package:

  • Salary up to £60,000
  • Bonus scheme
  • Overtime available
  • Monday to Friday working hours
