Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Stratford
Salary: Up to £55,000k basic
Shift: Perm early – Monday to Friday

My client has been established for over 70 years and are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their London team!

The Role:

•              You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of HGVs and plant machinery, ensuring all vehicles remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Duties include:
•              Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing HGVs and associated equipment to DVSA and manufacturer standards
•              Carrying out PMIs, inspections, and gate checks to ensure roadworthiness
•              Fault-finding across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
•              Maintaining accurate service, defect, and compliance records
•              Supporting Operator’s Licence requirements and health & safety compliance
•              Working with management and external suppliers to schedule maintenance and order parts

Skills & Experience required for this role:

•              Qualified HGV Engineer/Technician in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
•              Proven experience working on RCV’s, Skips & Look Loaders
•              Strong diagnostic ability and familiarity with modern vehicle diagnostic software/tools
•              Full UK Driving Licence (HGV Class 2 preferred but not essential)
