Roadside HGV Technician – Bournemouth

OTE: £50,000 – £60,000 per year (including standby and call-out enhancements)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (basic 40-hour week) + alternating 24-hour weekend call-out rota
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Earning Potential
Competitive basic salary with substantial enhancements for standby and call-out work
Realistic OTE: £50,000 – £60,000 per year

Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Roadside HGV Technician to join a leading commercial vehicle dealership in Bournemouth. This is an exciting role for a dedicated technician who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, providing essential roadside assistance and emergency repairs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Roadside HGV Technician, you will provide roadside assistance and emergency repairs to commercial vehicles.
Diagnose faults quickly and efficiently using the latest diagnostic tools, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
Carry out repairs to the highest safety and quality standards, maintaining clear communication with the control centre and customers.
Represent the business with professionalism while working independently on call.

What You’ll Need

Proven experience as an HGV Technician.
A relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience).
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential).
Flexibility to work alternating 24-hour call-out weeks, including weekends.
