HGV Technician – Swansea (Earlies/Lates + Saturday Overtime)
Pay: £19.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week + Saturday Overtime
Shift Pattern: Week 1: 6:00am – 2:30pm | Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Earning Potential (OTE)
Basic Salary: £39,520 per year (based on 40-hour week)
With Saturday Overtime: £43,000+ OTE per year
Overview
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional workshop in Swansea. This role offers a rotating early/late shift pattern with regular Saturday overtime available. Ideal for a qualified HGV Technician looking for variety in their schedule and strong additional earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- As an HGV Technician, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles to a high standard.
- Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using modern equipment as part of your role as a professional HGV Technician.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and in line with workshop procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold workshop organisation and safety.
What You’ll Need
- HGV Level 3 qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds) – required.
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician in a commercial workshop.
- IRTEC inspection licence – favourable.
- Class 1 (C+E) driving licence – favourable.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and Saturday mornings as needed.
