HGV Technician – Night Shift

Pay: £21.83 – £24.83 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 22:00 – 07:30 (45-hour week, 30-minute unpaid break)
Contract: Permanent

Earning Potential (OTE)

• Basic Salary: £42,569 – £48,419 per year
• Realistic OTE: £48,500 – £58,000+
• Overtime is paid at an enhanced rate of 1.4x your base hourly rate.

Overview
We’re looking for 2 experienced HGV Technicians to join a busy, modern workshop. You’ll benefit from strong hourly rates, steady weekday shifts, and the chance to significantly boost your earnings with enhanced overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs.
• Diagnose and complete accurate repairs to DVSA standards.
• Prepare and present vehicles for MOT.
• Complete records and job cards to company standards.
• Maintain safe and efficient workshop practices.

What You’ll Need

• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Proven workshop experience on HGVs.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential).
