Service Advisor

Pay: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 + Every other Saturday morning (8am – 1pm) paid as overtime = 1.5x rate.

Earning Potential (OTE)

Basic Salary: £28,000 per year.
Realistic OTE: £29,575 – £31,150+ per year.
(Includes regular overtime paid at time-and-a-half for working every other Saturday).

Overview
We are recruiting a Service Advisor for a prestigious main HGV dealership. This role offers a premium Company Car Scheme with a new vehicle every 6 months and an excellent pension. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build a career with a market leader, where you can boost your base salary with regular overtime in a stable Monday–Friday environment.

Key Responsibilities

Be the main point of contact for customers, scheduling servicing and repairs.
Liaise between customers, workshop technicians, and parts departments.
Provide accurate estimates, updates, and invoices.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and uphold the dealership’s reputation.
Efficiently manage workshop diaries and workflow.

What You’ll Need

Previous experience in a customer service or advisory role is essential.
Automotive experience is essential. You will not be considered if you have not got this experience. (Commercial/HGV background is a significant advantage).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
Confidence using workshop management/diary software systems.
