Mobile Powered Access Engineer Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Van + Fuel Card
Shifts: Monday – Friday (Days)
Location: Mobile / Field-Based
About the Company My client, a national provider of Powered Access and Plant equipment, is looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team. The Role As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on powered access equipment at customer sites, ensuring equipment is safe, compliant, and fit for hire.
Key duties include:
- Routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of powered access equipment
- Carrying out repairs to ensure hire equipment is operating efficiently
- Completing PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspections)
- Conducting LOLER examinations
- Attending customer sites to carry out breakdowns and fault finding
- Providing a professional and efficient service to customers
What You’ll Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience within the Powered Access industry
- IPAF and CAP licences (essential)
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in Plant Maintenance or a related discipline
- A full UK driving licence
- A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering excellent service
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a mobile/field-based engineer role is beneficial
