Job Title: Workshop Manager
Salary: £45,000 DOE
About your new company:
A successful Plant Hire company based near High Wycombe is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join their growing team at new depot.
About your new Workshop Manager role:

Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of all plant, tools, and hire equipment to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
Monitor workshop productivity- implement improvements to increase efficiency.
Managing absence, rotas and holidays for the Depot Service staff
Manage stock levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables to prevent shortages and ensure quick turnaround times for repairs.
Checking and processing information from engineers to process repairs to payment via warranty systems and external invoicing.

What you’ll need to succeed:

A proven background as a Technician, Engineer or Service manager in Plant/ construction or plant machinery.
Experience in the plant workshop and engineering environment.
Experience with hire software (Syrinx) preferred.
Good team management skills and/or experience.
A proven track record of guiding a team to success
A full, valid driving licence
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure is essential.
