Salary: £40,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

About the Company
We working with a well-established construction company based near Leeds, known for putting people first. As they continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Transport Manager to take the lead in managing our fleet operations and supporting our transport team.

About the Role
As Transport Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the plant and equipment is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to sites across the region. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the transport team, including performance reviews, disciplinary procedures, and ongoing development
  • Planning delivery and collection routes for plant machinery and vehicles
  • Ensuring all drivers have the correct paperwork and are operating in full compliance with UK transport regulations
  • Monitoring fleet performance and investigating any service issues to drive improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Transport Manager or Transport Planner role, ideally within plant hire, construction, or logistics
  • Strong organisational and people management skills
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
  • A valid CPC qualification is highly desirable

Received a call from David Wallace with a job opportunity in my area after previously speaking with the agency about work.
