HGV Technician – Permanent Days (Warrington)

Pay: £19.19 – £21.32 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
Contract: Permanent

Earning Potential (OTE)

Hourly Rate: £19.19 – £21.32 per hour
Basic Salary: £39,915 – £44,345 per year (based on 40-hour week)
Overtime Rate: Paid at time-and-a-half (1.5x) – £28.79 – £31.98 per hour
With 3 hours overtime per week: + £4,491 – £4,989 per year
Realistic OTE: £44,406 – £49,334+ per year

Overview
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Warrington on a permanent dayshift. This is a stable Monday–Friday role (08:30–17:00) with competitive hourly rates, offering a great work-life balance and the opportunity to work in a professional, well-equipped environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles
Perform diagnostics and fault-finding to manufacturer standards
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with workshop procedures
Maintain accurate job cards and documentation
Uphold high standards of workshop organisation and safety

What You’ll Need

Recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI) or equivalent experience
Proven experience as an HGV Technician in a workshop environment
Strong diagnostic and repair skills
Full UK driving licence
