Job Title: Powered Access Engineer
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum + Annual Bonus

Are you a skilled Service Engineer with a passion for Powered Access equipment? Looking for a new challenge with excellent earning potential, autonomy, and genuine career progression?
We’re seeking a proactive, hands-on Powered Access Engineer to join a growing team, supporting customers. This field-based role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to work with industry-leading equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on a range of Access Platforms (MEWPs)
- Attending breakdowns on customer sites and carrying out unscheduled repairs
- Delivering and collecting lightweight access platforms using a company vehicle and trailer
- Completing accurate service reports, documentation, and logs
- Liaising with manufacturers for diagnostics, warranty, and service support
- Supporting the depot team with PDI (pre-delivery inspection) preparation
- Maintaining strong communication with customers and ensuring excellent service delivery
- Promoting a safe working environment and adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
- Representing the company with professionalism and integrity at all times
- Participating in training and staying up to date with industry standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Full UK Driving Licence (with B+E entitlement)
- CAP Licence (Competent Assessed Person – Powered Access)
- IPAF Licence
- Solid experience with brands such as Skyjack, Niftylift, Manitou
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostics skills
- Welding experience (advantageous)
- IT literate – able to complete reports and access technical systems
- Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
