Shifts: 6:00am – 3:30pm week 1 & 12:30pm – 10:00pm week 2
Days: Monday to Friday

About the Company
A leading commercial vehicle dealership is seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join their modern, well-equipped workshop in York. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business offering strong earning potential and career progression.

The Role – HGV Technician
As an HGV Technician, you will be working in a busy workshop environment carrying out a wide range of duties, including:

Servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs
Diagnostics and fault finding
Major overhauls and mechanical repairs
Managing jobs from initial diagnosis through to completion
Ensuring all work is completed to high industry standards

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
Experience in a dealership or fleet environment
A Class 1 (C+E) licence is desirable but not essential
