Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (40 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent

Overview
We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Westbury. This role is central to ensuring effective cash flow, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting the wider business through robust credit control practices. You’ll be responsible for managing customer accounts, monitoring aged debt, and proactively handling collections. The role also involves accurate cash allocation, account reconciliation, and resolving account queries in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and credit limits in line with company policy
- Monitor, review, and actively pursue aged debt
- Proactively contact customers to secure payment and resolve queries
- Allocate incoming cash accurately and perform regular account reconciliations
- Prioritise high-risk and overdue debts to minimise exposure
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve billing or account discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
What You’ll Need
- Experience managing customer accounts, aged debt, and collections
- Knowledge of cash allocation and account reconciliation
- Strong understanding of credit control processes and accounts receivable
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail – accuracy is non-negotiable
- Resilient and organised, able to stay composed during busy periods
- Confident and professional communicator when dealing with customers regarding payments
- Discreet and professional, maintaining confidentiality and integrity
- Growth mindset – actively looking for ways to improve processes
