HGV Technician – Knighton

Salary: Up to £38,897 per year
Hours: Rotating shifts, Monday – Friday (42.5 hours paid per week after 30-min unpaid break):

Week 1 & 2: 08:00 – 17:00
Week 3: 12:00 – 22:00

Hourly Rate: £17.60 per hour (based on 42.5 paid hours per week)
OTE: £42,000 – £48,000+ per year (including 3 hours overtime per week at 1.5x)

Overview
We’re looking for an HGV Technician to join the team in Knighton on a rotating shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers
Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
Liaise with parts department to attain parts
Complete job cards and service sheets in a timely manner
Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to

What You’ll Need

Excellent customer service skills
HGV and PSV licence (desirable but not essential)
Technical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) or proven experience
Experience in commercial vehicle workshop
