Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Join a Market-Leading Fleet Operation An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician to join one of the world’s leading fleet management businesses. Operating a modern and diverse fleet of HGVs and specialist vehicles, this company is recognised for investing heavily in its people through industry-leading training, excellent working conditions, and genuine long-term career development.
Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to strengthen their Newcastle workshop team with a skilled and motivated HGV Technician.
The Role As an HGV Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining fleet safety, reliability, and performance standards. Working on a range of premium commercial vehicles including Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford, your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on HGVs and specialist vehicles
- Conducting routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections
- Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring DVSA compliance
- Completing all work to manufacturer and company standards
- Supporting workshop efficiency and minimising vehicle downtime
What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Class 1 or Class 2 licence preferred
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
