HGV Technician
Location: Preston
Rate: £22 Per Hour
Shift: Monday to Friday

Join a well-respected, workshop in Preston as a HGV Technician where your expertise will be recognised and your professional growth supported.

You will be assisting in the maintenance of over 100 vehicles including Refuse Vehicles, HGV’s and heavy plant.

What you’ll be doing in your new HGV Technician role:

Maintain, service, and repair a range of public service vehicles.
Carry out vehicle inspections and MOT preparations.
Diagnose and fix running defects efficiently and to high standards.

Requirements for your new HGV Technician role:

NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or 3 Years+ Time served as HGV/PSV Technician
A full UK driving licence.
Confidence working in a busy workshop environment.

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up. We had a catch up the next morning where we discussed the role and experiences.. my CV was sent to the client and an interview was organised by Jamie.
Jamie sent all the information over and then celi Called me in the morning to catch up and wish me luck for the interview..

I had the interview, it was alright.. however I felt that it wasn’t for me however Celi was great in discussing the situation and in no way was this bad on kemps side of things these things just don’t always work out!

Only took a week to get a new job in a new career. Lilly Collins was very helpful pointing me in the right direction to start my new career and had my CV sent to a potential employer a couple of days.
