Pay: Up to £21.00 per hour
Hours: 42.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday (choose from permanent 13:00–22:00 or rotational shifts: week 1 06:00–15:00 / week 2 13:00–22:00)
Contract: Permanent

Earning Potential (OTE)

• Hourly Rate: Up to £21.00 per hour
• Basic Salary (42.5-hour week): Up to £46,410 per year
• Overtime Rate: Paid at time-and-a-half (1.5x) – £31.50 per hour
• With 3 hours overtime per week: + £4,914 per year
• Realistic OTE: £51,324+ per year

Overview
We need a skilled HGV Technician for a well-established commercial vehicle maintainer in Coventry. You’ll work in a busy, modern workshop with ongoing training and a high-performing team. Flexible shift patterns available – permanent lates or rotational. Paying up to £21 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair running defects efficiently
• Conduct vehicle inspections, servicing, and general maintenance
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure compliance
• Perform engine and gearbox repairs and overhauls
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately

What You’ll Need

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician in a fleet or dealership environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
