HGV Driver / Yard Person – Swindon / Gloucester

Pay: £30,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (day shift)
Contract: Permanent

Earning Potential (OTE)

Basic Salary: £30,000 per year
Overtime: Available at time-and-a-half (1.5x)
Realistic OTE: £34,000 – £36,000 per year

Overview
We need a Driver / Yard Person with a valid Class 1 licence for a role covering both Swindon and Gloucester. You must be comfortable working across both sites. You’ll move vehicles between locations, collect and deliver customer vehicles, and keep the yard tidy.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and deliver customer vehicles, present for MOT
Road test vehicles after repairs and report back
Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
Keep yard clean, tidy, and organised
Park vehicles safely in designated areas
Travel between Swindon and Gloucester as required

What You’ll Need

Valid Class 1 HGV licence
Commercial driving experience
Happy to do yard duties
Willing to work across both Swindon and Gloucester
