Location: Workshop Cheshire – 72c Moss Ln, Macclesfield, SK11 7TT
Reason for vacancy: HGV tech left in February, refilled and candidate didn’t work out
What have you done to recruit for this role so far: Engaged with other agencies, advertised direct, couple of interviews but they have not been a good fit for the business
Key Duties & Tasks:

Diagnose and repair faults on a range tippers/HGV
Carry out routine maintenance and servicing tasks.

What does the ideal candidate look like: They need to fit in with the culture of the workshop
Must-Have Skills / Experience (on certain brands/ vehicles/ systems):

HGV Experience – essential
Worked on Tippers / VOLVO – desirable
Level 2/ Level 3 Qualified – desirable

Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 7am 5pm Monday to Friday – to confirm this is a 10 hour day/50 hour week
Salary / Hourly Rate Range: £17 – £20
Overtime – how many hours on average/ rate of pay: Occasional Saturday paid at enhanced rate? – please confirm if this is a flat rate or enhanced
Bonus / Incentive Structure: Christmas Bonus – every year performance based KPI – Individual number of hours worked – approx £500
Benefits Offered: onsite parking, 20 + 8BH, Dental Optical, pension
Interview Process and Format: 1 stage – Dave going off for paternity for 2 weeks – Are we looking for interviews to be held week commencing 29th June when Dave is back?

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up.
