Truck Sales Manager – Derby
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week – full time, permanent
Earning Potential – Salary:
£32,000 per annum basic
Realistic OTE: £70,000 (uncapped earning potential)
Company car provided for business and personal use
Overview
We’re looking for a Truck Sales Manager to join an award-winning commercial vehicle specialist in Derby. This isn’t just a sales role – it’s a leadership position. You’ll be managing a team, driving performance, and building customer relationships at a higher level. Key Responsibilities
- Leading and motivating the truck sales team to hit and exceed targets
- Building strong, long-term relationships with key customers
- Delivering a one-stop shop approach – driving full aftersales reassurance and care
- Ensuring dealer target KPIs are met consistently across the department
- Keeping the Sales department running smoothly and efficiently
- Continuously developing product and legislative knowledge across the team
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in a truck sales role – management experience preferred but not essential if you’re ready to step up
- Ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build genuine relationships with customers and colleagues
- HGV licence (advantage but not essential)
