Senior Vehicle Technician

Salary: £37,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Overtime: Available on Saturdays and weekday evenings

Senior Vehicle Technician Opportunity

This role is ideally suited to a technician with a strong main dealer background who is looking to take the next step in their career within a busy and well-equipped workshop environment. Although primarily depot-based, there may be occasions where support is required at other company locations, with all travel expenses covered.

The Role

As a Senior Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained and prepared to the highest standards. Working within a skilled team, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnostics, inspections and repair work across a range of vehicles.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing, maintenance and vehicle inspections
• Diagnosing faults and investigating customer concerns
• Identifying and rectifying mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle defects
• Completing pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on both new and pre-owned vehicles
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely
• Maintaining accurate workshop records and job documentation

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer environment (desirable) 
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Experience carrying out servicing, repairs and vehicle inspections
• Relevant automotive qualifications (Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• A full UK driving licence
