HGV Driver – Class 1

Location: Normanton
Pay: £20.62 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

THIS IS AN ONGOING CONTRACT ROLE – CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO COMMENCE EMPLOYMENT IMMEDIATELY HGV Driver

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join a busy commercial vehicle operation. This is a great opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys a varied role working both in the yard and on the road. Key Responsibilities

Shunting and moving vehicles safely within the yard
Collecting and delivering customer vehicles
Road testing vehicles following maintenance or repair work
Supporting workshop operations to ensure vehicles are moved efficiently
Maintaining high safety standards at all times

Requirements

Class 1 (C+E) licence is essential
Previous experience driving or shunting commercial vehicles is advantageous
A reliable and professional attitude
Good awareness of vehicle safety and yard operations

Celi and Jamie have both been absolutely incredible to deal with. I applied via indeed and Celi sent me a text message asking when would be good to catch up. We had a catch up the next morning where we discussed the role and experiences.. my CV was sent to the client and an interview was organised by Jamie.
Jamie sent all the information over and then celi Called me in the morning to catch up and wish me luck for the interview..

I had the interview, it was alright.. however I felt that it wasn’t for me however Celi was great in discussing the situation and in no way was this bad on kemps side of things these things just don’t always work out!
