Role: Automatic Door PPM Engineer
Salary: £31,000 + Door to Door + Van
Location: London
Shift: 40 hours per week
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x / 2x
On Call: 1 / 4-5 weeks rota

Are you an experienced Automatic Door PPM Engineer looking to join one of the UK’s leading entrance automation specialists? My client is expanding the team, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that delivers cutting-edge entrance solutions across commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, retail sites and public spaces throughout the UK.

As an Automatic Door PPM Engineer you will be responsible for:
Carrying out routine maintenance on swing and sliding door systems
Working safely and efficiently on customer sites
Ensuring works are completed to a high standard
Communicating effectively with colleagues, site teams and customers
Using tablets and digital job systems to complete paperwork
Lone working
Replacement of consumable parts following a schedule, or remedial works required

The successful Automatic Door PPM Engineer will have the following experience:
Basic electromechanical skill set (working with NO/NC circuits)
Some Experience with automatic swing and sliding doors would be advantageous
Comfortable using tablets / IT systems
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
Experience across all automatic doors would be advantageous
Problem solving
Basic hand/Power tools experience
Ability to read/understand wiring diagrams.

The Automatic Door PPM Engineer will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes:
£31,000 Basic salary
Door-to-door pay
New Ford Transit vans (fleet renewed every 4 years)
Tools and uniform provided
On-call rota
Enhanced overtime rates
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
Company pension scheme (4% employer contribution)
Healthcare plan with dental, optical, physio & chiropractic benefits
24/7 GP support and 4x life insurance
