Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: East Sussex
Salary: £43,890k Basic
Shift: Monday to Friday Days – 37 hrs per week

Key Responsibilities:

As part of a team of experienced HGV Technicians, you will work on a variety of commercial vehicles. Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting vehicle inspections
  • Performing routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
  • Carrying out reactive maintenance as required
  • Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT testing
  • Diagnosing and rectifying running defects
  • Responsible for the purchase, maintenance, repair and disposal of its inventory of 188 vehicles and operational equipment including breathing apparatus

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HGVs and trailers.
  • Industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician
  • HGV class 2 licence minimum
