Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Newark
Salary: £22.50 per hour (£46,800 basic) + Overtime + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 4:00pm

Looking for a Mobile HGV Technician role where no two days are the same? Join a professional fleet maintenance team working from a fully equipped service vehicle, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and breakdown support across multiple sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician who enjoys working independently while keeping a modern fleet safe, compliant and on the road.

The Role of a Mobile HGV Technician

Service, maintain and repair HGVs and trailers
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
Attend roadside and onsite breakdowns
Carry out MOT preparation and DVSA inspections
Complete maintenance records accurately
Work closely with the operations team to maximise fleet uptime

About You

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Proven HGV and trailer repair experience
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Able to work independently
Full UK Driving Licence
