About your new company:
A leading organisation within the Powered Access Sector is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to work on their Powered Access Machinery. You will join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Duties:

• Oversee the daily operation of the workshop and support a team of engineers.
• Plan and allocate workloads to maximise fleet availability.
• Carry out servicing, repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance on powered access equipment.
• Ensure machines are serviced, LOLER inspected, PDI completed and prepared for hire on schedule.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and support to workshop engineers.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the depot.
• Work closely with the Hire Desk to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Ensure all work is completed to company and manufacturer standards.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance, Heavy Vehicle, Agricultural Engineering or a related mechanical qualification.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Previous experience working on powered access equipment, plant machinery, forklifts or similar heavy equipment.
• Experience carrying out LOLER inspections and PDI inspections.
• The ability to lead and motivate a team in a busy workshop environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• A CAP (Competent Assessed Person) qualification is highly desirable but not essential
