Pay: £16.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts: Week 1: 7:00am – 4:30pm | Week 2: 11:00am – 8:30pm

About the Company Our client is a leading commercial vehicle dealership with a modern, well-equipped workshop. They are looking for a motivated HGV Technician Improver to join their growing team and develop their skills through industry-leading manufacturer training.

About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career as an HGV Technician. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will assist with servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of commercial vehicles while receiving ongoing manufacturer training and support.

As your experience grows, you’ll develop the skills required to carry out more advanced repairs and diagnostics, with excellent opportunities for career progression.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• A minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or a relevant Motor Vehicle qualification.
• A genuine interest in developing a career as an HGV Technician.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
• Previous workshop experience with HGVs, buses, vans or light vehicles would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A Class 1 (C+E) licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
