Overview
We’re looking for a Service Advisor to join an award-winning team in Westbury. This is a proper customer-facing role with a commercial edge – you’ll be maximising service bookings, managing workshop capacity, and keeping customers updated every step of the way. Our client is Motor Trader’s Employer of the Year, an official Great Place to Work, and a UK Best Workplace for Wellbeing and Development. If you want a role with real structure, manufacturer training, and progression, this is it.
Key Responsibilities
- Dealing with customers and ensuring satisfaction from start to finish
- Utilising workshop loading and keeping it up to date
- Regularly and proactively keeping customers updated on vehicle progress
- Booking in vehicles – ensuring appointments suit both the customer and workshop capacity
- Identifying customer requirements and supplying accurate, fully inclusive costing where possible
- Producing accurate job cards, invoices, estimates, and related information
- Providing customers with full explanations of work carried out – making the most of additional selling opportunities
- Producing warranty job cards in line with manufacturer policies and procedures
- Accurately recording all work requirements – retail, warranty, internal, and non-chargeable repairs
- Liaising with the Parts Department to ensure parts availability
What You’ll Need
- Previous Service Advisor experience preferred but not essential – we will consider candidates with strong customer service and administration backgrounds
- Exceptional customer service skills – you deliver the highest quality customer experience
- A commercial mindset – you actively sell after-sales services and maximise workshop capacity
- Strong communication skills – you’re the link between customers, technicians, and parts
- Organised and process-driven with strong attention to detail
- You’ll be a great fit if you’re customer-focused, commercially minded, and want a stable role with a multi-accredited, high-retention employer.
Think you might be a good fit?
If you’re customer-focused and organised, there’s manufacturer training, progression opportunities, and a team that’s been recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK.
