Job Title: Workshop Forklift Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £37,000 – £40,150
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40hrs
An established and growing independent forklift truck business is seeking an additional Workshop Engineer to join its Walsall based team.
Following a period of sustained growth and continued investment since 2016, the business is expanding its engineering team to support increasing demand and maintain high service standards.
Your new company specialises in the sale, hire, servicing and maintenance of a wide range of forklift trucks across the West Midlands area.
· Service, maintenance and repair a variety of forklift trucks
· Carry out fault diagnosis
· Undertake mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs
· Refurbish hire and sales fleet trucks to a high standard
· Complete major repairs that cannot be carried out in the field
· Conduct LOLER inspections in line with current regulations
· Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to high quality standards
· Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
· Experience as a Forklift engineer / Material handling mechanic / Plant Fitter essential
· Proven experience of diesel engines
· Strong experience with electrics and hydraulics
