Role: Electrical Installation Engineer
Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: £DOE + Door to door + Van
Shift: Monday – Friday (8.00am – 5.00pm)
My client, a nationally renowned Security and Communications Company that specialise in the design, installation, service and maintenance of integrated security systems and manufacture specialist equipment is looking for an Electrical Installation Engineer to join a growing team in the Nottinghamshire area
As an Electrical Installation Engineer you will be responsible for
Installing a variety of systems including Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and CCTV.
Carrying out upgrades to Fire Alarm Systems, P6 systems and Emergency Lighting as part of a two-person installation team.
Ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard, in line with company procedures and industry regulations.
Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring complete client satisfaction before leaving site.
Accurately completing handover documentation, commissioning paperwork and timesheets.
Working closely with colleagues and customers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Maintaining a premium level of workmanship and professionalism at all times.
Adhering to all Health & Safety legislation, company policies and safe working practices while on site.
Representing the business professionally and maintaining strong relationships with customers throughout each installation.
The successful Electrical Installation Engineer will have the following attributes and experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience installing Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and CCTV systems.
Proven knowledge of electrical installation, testing and fault finding within commercial, industrial, fire and security environments.
Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation.
AM2 Assessment.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
Valid ECS/CSCS Card.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Good IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office applications.
A positive, self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
The ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, colleagues and subcontractors.
Well organised with excellent time management and self-discipline.
A strong team player who is willing to learn new technologies, systems and working practices.
A genuine desire for continuous learning and professional development.
A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent health and safety standards.
