Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a varied role offering excellent earning potential and long-term stability?
Kemp Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading equipment hire and services company for an experienced 26T Tanker Driver to join their busy operation in Purfleet.
This is a varied position involving the servicing of welfare units, portable toilets and effluent tanks at customer sites, alongside the delivery of non-potable water and removal of waste.

The Role
As a 26T Tanker Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving and operating a 26-tonne tanker vehicle
• Emptying customer effluent tanks, portable toilets and welfare units
• Cleaning and refilling welfare facilities with the required chemicals
• Delivering non-potable water to customer sites
• Removing various types of waste from customer sites safely and in line with procedures
• Operating tanker pumps, hoses and associated equipment
• Emptying pump catchment tanks and cleaning tanker pump filters
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic vehicle maintenance
• Checking hydraulic fluid levels and reporting any defects
• Carrying out minor repairs to tanker equipment where required
• Planning and organising your daily workload to ensure customer requirements are met
• Ensuring the vehicle remains within legal weight limits
• Completing service records and paperwork accurately
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the tanker and associated equipment
• Providing excellent customer service while representing the company on-site
• Complying with Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations

About You
To be considered for this position, you’ll need:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Category C / Class 2 HGV entitlement
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong understanding of driver safety and compliance
• Good organisational and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• A professional and customer-focused attitude

Previous tanker or waste industry experience would be highly advantageous.
