HGV Mechanic Location: Strood
Hourly rate: £25.10 per hour
Hours: 9:45pm – 6:15am Monday – Friday

HGV Mechanic – £25.10 per hour Our client, a leading commercial vehicle dealership, is looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their modern workshop in Strood.

The Role As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance
Diagnosing and repairing faults
Completing major repairs and overhauls
Carrying out inspections and safety checks
Following repairs from initial fault diagnosis through to completion
Working to high standards of safety and quality

About You The successful HGV Mechanic will have:

Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent
Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic
Experience within a fleet, dealership or commercial vehicle workshop
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
A professional and reliable approach to work
C+E/Class 1 licence is beneficial but not essential
